The Irmscher tuning company is known for the treatments applied to cars bearing the Opel logo. As a result of the merger between FCA and PSA, the tuner has recently turned its attention to Fiat models as well.
After recently modifying the electric version of the Fiat 500 and the Ulysse and Scudo vans, the German engineers put their stamp on a limited edition of the Fiat 500C. This is called Fiat 500C "Sail by Irmscher" and will be produced in only 200 units. The first convertible of this limited edition was completed at the Irmscher production facility for the Autohaus König Group in Remshalden.
The most surprising change is the Turbo Star 10-spoke 17-inch wheels, available in a beige finish. Also, the Fiat 500C model received a series of accents in the same color on the level of the front grille, the trim on the sides, and the fabric roof.
This shade contrasts with the navy blue body paint and smoke-tinted rear windows. According to information provided by Irmscher, all 200 models of the Fiat 500C "Sail by Irmscher" will be offered in this configuration.
On the inside, the German tuning company has prepared several wooden trims for the dashboard and the central armrest. At the same time, the car comes with a set of new floor mats, and the "Sail Edition" logo is embroidered on the seats' headrests. Additionally, as with any limited edition model, a numbered plaque on the console tunnel tells you that you are aboard a Fiat 500C "Sail by Irmscher."
The Fiat 500C "Sail by Irmscher" model is based on the Fiat 500 DolceVita equipment line. Under the hood is the 1.0-liter "FireFly" engine that incorporates mild-hybrid technology. This was introduced to the Italian urban range in 2020 and is currently the only option available. The engine produces 70 hp and 92 Nm of torque, figures that are small even for a city vehicle. @via carscoops.
