For the second year in a row, Ford's electrified SUV, the Ford Kuga Plug-In Hybrid, has been the best-selling plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at the European level. This achievement was made possible by a year-over-year rise in Ford Kuga Plug-In Hybrid deliveries of 20%.
With an all-electric range of 57-67 km (WLTP) and energy usage of 14.4-15.9 kWh/100 km (WLTP), the clever plug-in hybrid drive system is designed to offer consumers flexibility. This allows for frequent trips to be taken using only the electric motor.
The Ford Kuga ST-Line X Black package was introduced for the Ford Kuga the year before last. This package allows customers to add distinctive exterior design elements, such as a painted black roof, mirror caps that are finished in black, front grilles and a rear spoiler with black accents, and 20-inch light-alloy wheels that are painted black. In addition, customers have the option to add a black-painted roof.
Since last year, the Ford Kuga Plug-In Hybrid has been equipped with an additional option of 18-way adjustable seats for the driver and front passenger, which have been certified by the leading spine health organization Aktion Gesunder Rücken eV (AGR).
According to Jon Williams, general director of Ford Blue Europe, "the growing success of the Kuga Plug-in Hybrid highlights the role that flexible powertrains can play in helping customers make the transition to electric cars."
