Alfa Romeo ended the last year on the German market with clearly good sales. The Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) says that compared to 2021, the number of new registrations for the Italian brand went up by 22.3%. This success was also helped by the launch of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale, which is now also available with an electric drive.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio kept doing well in their respective markets. Once again, Giulia was the best-selling imported D-segment sedan. Both models contributed a lot to Alfa Romeo's good year in 2022, and they were even able to sell more cars than the year before (+3.4% more).
German car fans also liked Alfa Romeo's strategy outside its model range: customer satisfaction went up by three percentage points to over 93%. The brand also won nine awards from the most important car magazines. Alfa Romeo won the "autonis" and "Best Cars" awards from auto, motor & sport, as well as the "Best Brands" award from AUTO BILD.
