Two months after revealing the new generation C4 Picasso, Citroen publishes first official pictures and information about C4 Picasso's big brother, called Grand C4 Picasso. The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso can accommodate up to seven people on three rows of seats.
Grand C4 Picasso comes with a new EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform 2) platform, which reduces its weight by 110 kg. Thus, by changing the platform, Citroen has managed to improve the handling, performance and efficiency. In addition, although it seems hard to believe, Citroen Grand C4 Picasso's CO2 emissions are just 98 g / km for the 1.6-liter diesel engine mated to the new 6-speed clutchless manual gearbox - ETG6 - (6-speed Efficient Tronic Gearbox).
According to Citroen, the new Grand C4 Picasso will be available at first only with a selection of diesel engines, including a 90 hp engine and a 115 hp. The list is completed by a BlueHDI 2.0-liter unit that produces 150 hp.
